We are the (CHI) champions!
SI students won first and second place in the CHI Student Design Competition in Boston this morning. The TreasureHunter project, with Sang Koh, Amy Kuo, Debra Lauterbach, Noah Liebman, and Andrea McVittie, captured first place. The MiFresh project, with Maureen Hanratty, Geoff Ho, Jiang Yang, and Xiao Wei, came in second place. Third place went to CropConnect from Iowa State University and fourth was awarded to Wattbot from Indiana University. You can read a previous post about the entire competition. The two winning teams were among five from SI selected for the competition as semi-finalists.
