Order your ASB Recipe Book by Friday

SI students discovered what great cooks they are
at the ASB Recipe Book Dinner Party.
Looking for something different to eat on a cold night? You might want to pick up a copy of the ASB Recipe Book for just $5 to benefit the Alternative Spring Break program. Hurry, though, because you need to order by Friday, Jan. 22. The book features the meals featured at the ASB Recipe Book Dinner Party that was held Friday, Jan. 15.
Kelly Kowatch, assistant director of the SI Career Development Office and executive chef of the SI culinary division, says the book includes 47 delicious recipes.
In the book, you’ll find recipes submitted by members of the SI community for pesto, peanut brittle, creamy pesto shrimp, chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting, pumpkin streusel cheesecake bars, Oreo “truffles,” pumpkin bread, cinnamon-sugar lady fingers, French potato salad, praline sweet potato bake, rosemary roasted chicken, shephard’s pie, yam soup, key lime pie, easy chili, cowpeas, tiny carrots with dill butter, calypso salad, slow-cooker pears in marsala, carrot bread, beet eggs, Western ribs, sweet cream cole slaw, sweet potato and chipotle soup, pecan pie, four brothers salad, cornbread, sweet potato and black bean burritos, southern sloppy joes, concia ā zucchini with mint and vinegar, cinnamon sugar walnuts, mini cola muffins, amazing avocado salsa, cheesy potato casserole, chole (spicy chick peas), gorgonzola mac ānā cheese, outrageous brownies, quichey muffiny bicuity things, spicy beef with watercress, shrimp and cheese grits with bacon, curried pecans, sweet potato peanut stew, corn dish, sweet and sour meatballs, tabouli, glorified graham crackers, and amaretto Ghirardelli chocolate chip cheesecake.
