Alumna Kenlee Ray has first named North Quad space
Through her recent gift to the North Quad Academic and Residential Complex, SI alumna Kenlee Ray (ABED ’67, AMLS ’68) will create the complex’s first named space, the Kenlee Ray Meeting Room. North Quad is the new home for the School of Information as well as departments of the College of Literature, Science and the Arts that focus on media, technology, and global understanding.
“I’m excited by the North Quad’s invitation to students, faculty, and visitors to learn and engage with all of their senses,” she said. “A state-of-the-art living laboratory like North Quad will be ideal for SI’s integrated approach to the study of people, information, and technology and how they relate to each other.” After retiring as senior information officer for the World Bank, Ray spent time volunteering at a rural school library in Zimbabwe.
The Kenlee Ray Meeting Room is on the third floor of North Quad. You can learn more about North Quad.
