The next MLibrary 2.0 Special Interest Group brown bag takes on a timely topic: what are museums and libraries doing to take advantage of Web 2.0 features? SI alumni David Carter (MILS ’95) and Suzanne Chapman (MSI ’06) participate in the discussion from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, February 17 in 806 Hatcher. The burning question of the day is how do you take world-class collections and share them with the University and the general public? You’re welcome to attend and learn how other libraries and museums are using Web 2.0 applications. In general, you’ll get a good idea of how you can present a library, its people, and its collections using Web 2.0 (and Museum 2.0) tools. The informal discussion will be led by Exhibits and Outreach Librarian Melissa Levine. Everyone from SI is invited.
