Is your personality a match for working in a library? SI Career Services and the student group of the American Library Association are sponsoring this event on “Cataloging the Librarian.” The interactive personality type workshop will run from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 in the Ehrlicher Room, 411 West Hall. All participants should take the online test and note their personality type beforehand. SI Career Services staff will provide information on the Myers-Briggs Typology Indicator and facilitate a discussion about how the various library career paths and related skills and preferences fit with different personality types. Pizza and soda will be provided. Please RSVP through iTrack, Facebook, or with an E-mail to email@example.com so that the organizers know how much pizza to order.

ALA and the SI Career Services team will be having a resume review session this Thursday at 12 p.m. in 409 West Hall. Bring your resume and see where you might be able to improve it and/or shake it up a little. This would be the perfect opportunity to have someone look over your resume just before ASB, especially if you plan to leave it with your host organization. Take advantage of the extra set of eyes this Thursday.
