October 11, 2009One of the leading thinkers in social media is coming to the School of Information this week for the John Seely Brown Symposium on Technology and Society. danah boyd, a social media researcher at Microsoft Research New England and a fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School, will speak on “Youth-Generated Culture: Growing Up in an Era of Social Media” at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13. The presentation — open to the public — will be in the Blau Auditorium, R1100 Ross School of Business (Tappan and Monroe Streets).
