One of the leading thinkers in social media is coming to the School of Information this week for the John Seely Brown Symposium on Technology and Society. danah boyd, a social media researcher at Microsoft Research New England and a fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School, will speak on “Youth-Generated Culture: Growing Up in an Era of Social Media” at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13. The presentation — open to the public — will be in the Blau Auditorium, R1100 Ross School of Business (Tappan and Monroe Streets).
