The premier showcase of SI student talent, the expoSItion is ready to go from noon-2 p.m. Monday, March 23 in the Michigan League Vandenberg Room. Students will be on hand to talk about their projects that relate directly to what they study at SI. Just beforehand, from 10 a.m.-noon in the League Hussey Room, SI will sponsor a Networking Fair. Students can connect with local employers in this “job fair” format to learn about employers’ organizations and to share their own stories. It’s a great way for students to practice marketing themselves to potential employers. Students should RSVP on iTrack.
The expoSItion is supported by the John Deere Foundation, Microsoft Research, and Yahoo! Microsoft is once again offering a monetary award for the best social computing project exhibited at the expoSItion. The award is for $750 ($500 for first prize, $250 for runner-up). Professor Paul Resnick is heading up the judging panel.
